Treatment Methods and Types

CASE 01

For those with large, wide nostrils

A wedge-shaped incision and suture are made in the skin below the nose to narrow the nostrils. The incision line is designed to lie along the boundary between the nostrils and the cheeks.

CASE 02

If the area below the nostrils is wide

After excising the lower portions of both nostrils, the area between the nostrils is sutured to pull them toward the center, narrowing the nostrils and refining the tip of the nose.

CASE 03

When the alar cartilages are flared to the sides

After trimming the cartilage slightly and suturing both sides together, the septum is lifted, resulting in a more refined tip of the nose.

CASE 04

If the cartilage is large and blunt

We trim the cartilage slightly and suture both sides to narrow the nostrils, and if necessary, insert ear cartilage or septal cartilage to refine the tip of the nose.
